Old Mortise Style Door Striker Spacers

Have a door that won't stay closed or even close at all? Don't want to go through the trouble of repairing the door by re hanging the frame / replacing the door? I have designed this door striker spacer to replace the existing striker or to be used with the existing striker.

We have 9 different types / sizes available, make sure to measure the height of your striker plate and ensure that the picture matches your particular striker. Also these spacers come in white, but if you specify which color you want, I can print it in any of these colors: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Pink and of course White.

How to determine which spacing you need:
Measure the gap between the door and the frame. Subtract 1/8" from that measurement. Pick the closest match, making sure to round down in measurement, not up. If you pick too small of a spacer you can put the existing striker plate on top of the spacer. If the spacer is too large, you will need to sand it down with some sand paper.

Screws no longer fit or are loose: You will need to pick up a new set of drywall / wood screws. I recommend using screws that are at least 1" in size on interior doors and 3" in size on exterior doors. Make sure the head of the screws are countersunk in order to sit flush in the spacer.
